In a turn of events, around 1300 dancers who performed in the song “Naan Ready Thaan” for the film “Leo,” featuring Vijay, have yet to receive their salaries, prompting concerns about the film’s production.
Despite Vijay reportedly earning a hefty salary of Rs 200 crore for the film, the dancers, who contributed significantly to the song’s success, claim that they have not been paid even after four months.
The song “Naan Ready Dhaan,” composed by Anirudh and sung by Vijay, featured the participation of approximately 2000 dancers, but a substantial portion of them, roughly 1300, say they have not received their due compensation.

The film “Leo” is produced by Seven Screen Studio founder Lalit Kumar, who previously showcased the challenges faced by the crew in a promotional video after the Kashmir shoot. However, the revelation that the dancers were not paid for their work with Vijay has cast a shadow over the film’s production.
Despite promises of 8 days of shooting and salaries of up to Rs 20,000 for each dancer, the song scenes were completed in just six days. For the past four months, these dancers have been struggling to receive their promised payment of Rs 16,000 each. The dancers have expressed their hope that they will receive their salaries before the release of “Leo,” providing them with much-needed relief.
