Chennai: A new film called “Leo” is creating a buzz among fans as popular actors Vijay, Trisha, and others take on the lead roles. The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is currently being filmed in both Kashmir and Chennai. After the success of their previous collaboration, “Vikram,” the anticipation for “Leo” is running high.
The shooting of “Leo” is nearing completion, and fans eagerly await updates as the film is set to release in October. To add to the excitement, glimpses of the movie will be unveiled on Vijay’s birthday. Alongside Vijay and Trisha, actors like Myshkin, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, and Priya Anand will also be seen in prominent roles. The film marks the reunion of Vijay and Trisha after 14 years, and fans hope to witness their captivating chemistry once again.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has earned recognition as a leading director with films like “Mahanagaram,” “Kaathi,” “Master,” and “Vikram,” which garnered attention from both fans and critics. With the success of “Vikram,” expectations for “Leo” have skyrocketed. The film’s trailers and posters have already impressed fans, further fueling their excitement.
Vijay’s previous film, “Warisu,” performed well at the box office but received mixed reviews. As a departure from his usual roles, it showcased a different side of Vijay, focused on family sentiments. In response to this, the film crew has chosen to follow up with “Leo,” a gangster film, to please the fans. They are striving to deliver another hit.
Currently, an elaborate song sequence is being shot for the film, and the climax scenes will take place on an impressive set at Ramojirao Film City. By June, the shooting is expected to be wrapped up, allowing the crew to dedicate three months to post-production work. The planned release date for “Leo” is October 19.
As a special treat, the clips of the movie will be released on Vijay’s birthday, similar to how they released clips of “Vikram” on Kamal Haasan’s birthday. Fans eagerly anticipate the unveiling of the title video, announcement video, posters, and first look of Thalapathy 68 alongside the glimpse of “Leo” on Vijay’s birthday this month.
